Nature composed the music. This guy just wrote it down.

Thank you, Vatican.

During a brief bout of pointless browsing, going through random digg articles, reading useless comments and looking at pictures of cats, I came across this gem:

Apparently, back in November, the Vatican officially forgave John Lennon for his “We’re more popular than Jesus now” remark to a British newspaper back in 1966!

The thoughts that went through my mind:

1. thank you Vatican, it’s such a relief that the millions of Lennon fans can now go on living without the fear of going to hell for admiring a genius’ oeuvre.

2. Lennon himself is probably finally resting in peace.

3. “Imagine” vs. an invisible being: Guess which of the two never fails to give me goose bumps.

4. “Give peace a chance” vs. your pro-AIDS, anti-condoms attitude: guess which of the two makes me believe a little more in humanity.

Cheers.

Danger Mouse's (of 'The Grey Album') new album will be a Blank CD, due to legal issues with his label. His idea is that listeners would torrent the music and burn it onto the blank cd. Interesting business model. (May 17th, 2009, 0)

Something strange is happening. When I turned on my Macbook this morning, iTunes started up by itself, in the middle of some Patti Smith song that I’d never heard before. After work, I plugged in my earphones and the iPhone was already in the middle of a Doors song. I got home, and turn on my monitor (JUST the monitor, the pc was on, it wasn’t hibernating, sleeping or shut down), and as soon as the screen appears, iTunes is in the middle of a random Beatles song!!!

Three different machines, all going crazy.

I’m scared of using my Flip this weekend. I think my electronics are haunted.

Lunchbreak.

Jim Morrison never ceases to blow my mind. He smoothly and delicately puts to words my innermost thoughts. Talk about idols.

“The program for this evening is not new.
You have seen This entertainment through & through.
You’ve seen your birth, your life & death;
you might recall all of the rest –
did you have a good world when you died? –
enough to base a movie on?
