So painfully sad… it’s funny

Don’t you just love people who only ask a question and sincerely listen for your answer when they already know the truth, are not satisfied with it, and are hoping that you’d give a different answer which they can accept and blame any resulting issues on you.

I was giggling uncontrollably during this conversation:

“You’re late.”

“For what?”

“Nothing.”

“Huh?”

“If I had reserved a table at that place, like I was thinking of doing, you’d have been late.”

“But you didn’t.”

“No.”

“We agreed that we weren’t going to eat there.”

“Yes.”

“So?”

“If I had reserved a table at that place, like I was thinking of doing, you’d have been late.”

“Sorry?”

I guess I have no respect for imaginary appointments… heaven help me.

Olympic racism… kinda defies the concept, huh?

Speed Skating: Davis and Cheek Thrash the Dutch. Apart from the ‘drama’ cause by issues between Davis and the rest of the U.S. olympic speed skaters… here’s what grabbed my attention. On the official site for the Torino olympics…. the games that are supposed to unite people and promote tolerance and friendship…

“An American double victory in the deafening arena of the Oval Lingotto, taken by storm by thousands of Dutch supporters, who had to bow down to the speed and technique of the “black arrow” Shani Davis, the first coloured athlete to win an Olympic medal in the speed skating event….

… the coloured was the only one to record a faster time than 1’9”…”

I personally am anti-political correctness. I feel the fact that you identify people by their skin color is more of an issue than the terminology you use…. but still… COLOURED?! What the hell?
