When does a cliche stop being one?

I haven’t met a single girl who doesn’t like to have long phone conversations… does that mean that I can state that as a fact when referring to my own personal experience?

I also enjoy long phone conversations…. what does THAT mean? Does it void the cliche? what? WHAT!?!?!?
